Sleepwalking

I took a bunch of video of various parts of our trip yesterday, and it's all fairly interesting as part of a video documentation, but this was the most entertaining part. I don't sleep well on airplanes, so I read, listened to my iPod, and watched a movie instead. Here's the result after something like 30 hours awake with only catnaps:

After a good night's rest (and hopefully some coffee with the hotel buffet breakfast), I'll be a little more coherent. Guess what Soulmate has on the docket for today? Yup, a power tour of the Guangzhou shopping district. Woo hoo!

Yep, I know that look, except I don't think I've ever put it on videotape. Actually, at the 1:09 mark I thought you were going to keep tipping to the right and perhaps go right to sleep.

I have to say that you're in deep trouble if you don't get some fantastic sleep, since the double-time pace of Soulmate will leave you behind.

Perhaps you could sit at a cafe and she could loop down one street and back down the otherside to meet you. Then move to the next block.

I'll put some Kenny G "Songbird" on iTunes for you to sleep to. Good night brother of mine!

Now we know what we need to do to you to get a word in (or jump in with a sentence even) during conversation...JK!! :) I couldn't pass that one up! hee.

God is just preparing you for all the sleep you will be missing from here to the end of your life. Children have a way of stealing sleep from adults.

Hugs--

Steve,
Just watched your video and I am laughing so hard, I'm crying :)
I am going to show Mark and Kam when they return from their "hotel walk".
Maybe we'll see you guys at dinner?
Funny, funny, funny :)

I felt almost the same last night about 6pm coming back from shopping. Tonight I've made it past 6, but Soulmate's already sleeping.

I'm going to do a little "serious" writing tonight--a letter to my little daughter before we meet.
